Treating Sciatica & Low Back Pain 6 CEU’s / PDA’s – Video Class

Treating Sciatica & Low Back Pain video with Phil Macqueen

Phil demonstrates the use of specific acupuncture points to enhance the effectiveness of the bodywork he
demonstrates, the results of which can give dramatic. He relates to how muscles have and hold
memories, and by the use of these techniques, you will be able to help the patient emerge from many years of being “stuck” under these layers.
“I believe a spasm in the Psoas muscle is related to 85% of Low Back and Sciatic problems”…
A pretty strong statement, but based on 15 years Phil Macqueen has the evidence based research to convince himself.

Phil illustrates the location of the Psoas and Iliacus muscles and describes the origins of the Genitofemoral Nerve, the Femoral Nerve and the Sciatic Nerve and describes how the interaction of these nerves and the Psoas and Iliacus muscles cause major back problems.
He explains how to diagnose what is happening from a patient’s stance and through demonstrating abdominal palpation. He then describes and demonstrates his treatment to release the Psoas and Iliacus muscles for Sciatica and Low Back pain based on an understanding of the anatomy of the origins and insertions of these muscles.

If you want a different and successful new approach to dealing with this often difficult to treat clinical presentation, this video is a must. This is a streaming video.
