Any online or in-person CPR course is sufficient for NCCAOM recertification.

You will have immediate access to your course and upon completing and passing your online test.  A certificate of completion will be available in your completed course folder.

In this acupuncture continuing education course you will learn that according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the leading cause of death in the United States is cardiovascular disease.  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation can be administered in many different situations. If a person has drowned, had a heart attack, experienced a stroke, gone into cardiac arrest, or is choking.  CPR training could mean the difference between life and death. If the patient isn’t breathing, is unconscious or has no pulse, CPR should be applied immediately. Proper CPR begins with chest compressions and no longer requires mouth-to-mouth breathing techniques.  This course gives a basic overview of cpr with videos to help with understanding how to perform.

NCCAOM – 4 pdas – CPR REQUIREMENT

The NCCAOM will accept the acupuncture continuing education CPR pdas requirement for recertification from all providers and the system will automatically grant that person 4 points.  You will have to upload to the portal manually.
